Cadillac has revealed the 2025 Escalade, showcasing a thoughtfully updated interior and exterior for its iconic luxury full-size SUV. The refreshed model aims to elevate the features most beloved by Escalade owners while maintaining its position as North America's best-selling luxury full-size SUV since 2014.
Exterior Design Updates
The 2025 Escalade boasts a bolder front-end design, drawing inspiration from Cadillac's CELESTIQ and LYRIQ models. Notable changes include a standard illuminated front crest and, on V-Series and Premium Luxury Platinum trims, an illuminated grille surround. The SUV's lighting elements have transitioned from horizontal to vertical, reinforcing Cadillac's strong brand identity.
New 24-inch wheels, the largest ever offered on an Escalade, are now available. The colour palette expands with three new options: Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic. Power open-and-close doors are also available on select trims.
Interior Enhancements
Inside, the 2025 Escalade borrows design elements from the ESCALADE IQ, balancing luxury with technology. An available Executive Second Row package offers stowable tray tables, personal screens, a rear command centre, wireless charging pads, massaging seats, and headrest speakers.
Two new interior colour schemes have been introduced: Renaissance Red, featuring Mulan leather with dark open pore wood veneer, and Jet Black and Sheer Gray, showcasing Opus leather with heathered grey fabric accents. Customers can personalize their interior lighting with 126 colour options in two zones.
Advanced Technology Integration
The 2025 Escalade comes equipped with a curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal display, offering an immersive infotainment experience. Standard features include a 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system, with an optional 36-speaker system available.
Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is now standard across all trims. Additional technology offerings include Wi-Fi Hotspot capability, Night Vision, and a Full-colour Head-Up Display on select trims.
Performance and Driving Dynamics
The refreshed Escalade maintains its focus on confident performance and advanced chassis technologies. Available Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension is standard on select trims, adhering to Cadillac's "Isolated Precision" ride and handling philosophy.
For performance enthusiasts, the V-Series variant continues to offer a 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine producing 682 horsepower.
Availability and Production
The 2025 Escalade is expected to begin production in late 2024 at GM's Arlington Assembly plant in Texas. It will be offered in six distinct trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and V-Series.
John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, stated, "The expansion of the portfolio to include a refreshed Escalade and the all-new all-electric ESCALADE IQ later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers."
Pricing details and additional information will be announced closer to the vehicle's launch date.
