Car specialists have long been waiting for the all-new 2019 Cadillac XT4, adding a second crossover to its lineup.
The competition must be shaking with fear, because this new compact crossover is a strong competitor with Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and other BMWs in the same range.
Highlights of the 2019 Cadillac XT4
Note, from the outset, that the brand new 2019 Cadillac XT4 is far removed from the large Escalade SUV. The XT4 gives the sense of a touch of luxury galore and is appearing on the scene just before the XT5. With an in-line 2.0 litre Turbo engine that delivers 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, this vehicle includes active sport suspension and electro-hydraulic braking assist that replaces the traditional vacuum-assistance to boost fuel economy.
This small Cadillac is much like an XT5, but is shorter by 21.3 cm and already boasts the brand’s new grille, similar to the Cadillac CT6. It includes, in particular, 18-inch wheels as standard, but the 20-inch version is also available.
The technology of the 2019 Cadillac XT4
The infotainment system of the 2019 Cadillac XT4 will be slightly different from that of the XT5, to correct some minor bugs. Among these, a rotary control button has been added, another way to control favourite commands without leaning forward. Cadillac also uses a near-field communications system to enable smart phone pairing. For tech enthusiasts, the XT4 now comes with 7 USB ports because it’s not only the driver who needs to charge devices.
The price of the 2019 Cadillac XT4
Cadillac Canada announced that the 2019 XT4 will go on sale this fall at a starting MSRP of $37,900, plus a $2,000 shipping fee. At this price, it's worth the wait!
