XT-4: Technology for your safety

The 2021 Cadillac XT-4 offers the Cadillac experience tailored to your needs. Signature design, premium comfort and cutting-edge technologies make this compact SUV the perfect choice for your daily commute.

In addition to its unique styling and responsive drive, the 2021 Cadillac XT-4 offers a range of safety features that help provide peace of mind on the road.

Automatic Emergency Braking

Available Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a potential front-end collision with a detected vehicle you are following. This feature works at speeds below 50 mph. Camera technology is used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

Rear Camera Mirror

The rear camera mirror uses a camera to provide you a wide and less obstructed view behind the vehicle while you are driving. You can switch between the camera view and a traditional rear view mirror. This is helpful when parking and backing up at low speeds.

Safety Alert seat

Using left, right or both-side driver seat vibration pulses, the Safety Alert Seat can help you identify the direction of potential crashes so you can quickly take action. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Available Adaptive Cruise Control can automatically maintain a driver-selected gap time from the detected vehicle you’re following while you steer. This feature reduces the need to frequently brake and accelerate when you are driving.

Head-Up display

With a full-color reconfigurable display, the available Head-up Display projects key selectable information onto the windshield.

Lane change alert with side blind zone alert

Available Lane change alert with side blind zone alert can provide side-mirror visual alerts when detected moving vehicle is quickly approaching or is in your side blind zone.
