Calgary will soon be home to Western Canada’s first-ever exclusive Cadillac dealership. Carter Cadillac, expected to open late 2018, will set a new benchmark for Cadillac as the brand continues to grow in Canada and globally.
The groundbreaking at the dealership’s future location, near Blackfoot Trail SE and Heritage Drive, took place today and was attended by Carter Cadillac’s managing partner Jay McKeen, Cadillac Canada’s managing director Hossein Hassani, and MLA for Calgary-Acadia, Hon. Brandy Payne.
Jack Carter’s existing dealership has been Western Canada’s top Cadillac dealer for the last two years and is on track to make it a third year in a row in 2017.
“We believe in the entrepreneurial spirit of Calgary, and this investment confirms our tremendous confidence in the city’s great future,” explains Jay McKeen, managing partner, Carter Cadillac. “We’ve noticed an increased interest in luxury vehicles in the west and Calgary is the highest volume market for Cadillac in Western Canada, which makes it the perfect location for this new dealership.”
In addition to being Western Canada’s first exclusive Cadillac dealership, Carter will also be Cadillac’s first North American exclusive dealer facility to break ground in 2017 with the brand’s new corporate image program.
“The Cadillac brand is on an ascent and uncompromising attention to attitudes, behaviours and policies is vital to ensuring a remarkable experience for customers,” said Cadillac Canada’s managing director Hossein Hassani. “The drive and investment by dealers like Jay McKeen make this possible, and serves as an example of new approaches to building long term Cadillac growth worldwide, re-establishing the brand’s iconic position.”
The new dealership will feature 50,000 square feet of developed space over two levels, including rapid charging stations for electric vehicles and a virtual reality room. An upper showroom offering Cadillac’s V-Series high performance vehicles and a rotation of vintage Cadillac cars will provide Calgary with a new experience in luxury vehicle purchase and ownership.
The dealership is expected to create up to 40 new full time positions.
